Test Results
We have been able to test out prototype with users to measure how well they interacted with the interface and gained feedback and qualitative data on the satisfaction and usability of our application to provide users with the information necessary to make fast decisions on where to grab coffee on campus.
Users Were Tasked to:
1. To pick a coffee spot to grab coffee before class
2. Use the chat feature to ask for the availability of a product.
From our results:
We have reported to have decreased the amount of time it takes users to make decisions by 40%, the average time it took to complete task one was 27 seconds on average and took 25 Seconds to
complete task two.users were asking less questions about the functionality of our application
and was clearly able to make faster decisions.
Our users were successful to complete task one in under 45 seconds 80% and task two 100% of the
time. This is a major improvement from the last studio session where the Success rate for task one was 33% and task two was 83%. What seems to be working well is the adoption of the line counter in the front menu. This new feature has allowed our users to commit less clicks to find information and had been presented in a way to influence their decision in the main screen. User clicks have went from 10.5 clicks to make a decision in studio two to now (3.4 Clicks) in studio three.
By providing our users with all the information they need on one page, the amount of clicking the user has to make decreases while also the potential to also get lost and make an error also increases.
